Dr. K. Moidu, the Founder Chairman of KMCT Group of Institutions, hails originally from Kuttiady in Calicut. He is a renowned medical practitioner and a prominent social figure. Dr. Moidu was among the first batch of M.B.B.S. students who graduated from Madurai Medical College in 1960. In 1968, he established Western Hospital, a 50-bedded facility in the heart of Calicut city. Later, he went on to initiate National Hospital, a 300-bedded multi-specialty hospital. In 1994, he founded The Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust Group of Institutions, or KMCT, to provide yeoman services in the fields of education and healthcare. In 2001, through KMCT, he established numerous professional colleges, totaling 22, with nearly 7000 students. Approximately 1500 people are directly employed, and 6000 benefit indirectly through KMCT. Dr. Moidu was one of the founder directors of the Muslim Educational Society (MES), which has launched numerous educational institutions in Kerala. A proficient leader and organizer, Dr. Moidu has held positions such as president of the Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), The Rotaract Club of Calicut, and the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Calicut chapter.

Our Managing Trustee since 2021, Dr. Navas K.M., has a vision that extends to the horizon, aiming to transform the KMCT Group of Institutions into a knowledge-based educational and healthcare hub, contributing immensely to the economic growth of our country. His motto is to bring world-class education and healthcare within reach of our people, driving him to explore every possible avenue to achieve this goal. He serves as the guiding force and mentor, analyzing various initiatives at KMCT Group of Institutions in comparison with global trends, setting standards firmly rooted in core aspects of education for all, healthcare for all, quality in everything you do, upholding moral values, and adhering strictly to ethical principles.

He believes in investing time and resources in traveling and building networks worldwide to enhance the quality of institutional activities. Dr. Navas has served in various organizations and associations at different levels, contributing to both charitable and developmental activities. He previously held the position of president at the Kerala Private Medical College Management Association (KPMCMA) and is currently engaged with associations across various disciplines relevant to his group. This involvement enables him to participate in policy decisions concerning colleges at the local, state, and central levels.

Dr. Navas is currently a member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), KMTC (Kerala Medical Technology Consortium), CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), and CMA (Calicut Management Association).
