Dr. Ashwin Menon, M.D., is an accomplished Associate Professor in the department of ENT at KMCT Medical College Hospital, bringing a robust academic background and over 10 years of experience in medical education and clinical practice.

He earned his MBBS in February 2010 from Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, Thrissur. He further pursued his MS, graduating in November 2016 from ACME.
Dr. Ashwin completed his residency at ACME, Pariyaram and KMCT Medical College Hospital, and has worked as an Assistant Professor at KMCT. He has made significant contributions to both education and clinical care. His research has resulted in several publications, including:

1. Type 1 Tympanoplasty with Temporalis Fascia and Modified Cartilage Shield Technique Using Tragal Cartilage - A Comparative Study. IOSR Journal of Dental and Medical Sciences (2020).
2. Spontaneous Cerebrospinal Fluid Rhinorrhea: An Enigma. IOSR Journal of Dental and Medical Sciences (2020).

4. Tracheostomy: A Hospital-Based Descriptive Study (February 2017).
5. A Study on Olfactory Improvement Assessed with Butanol Threshold Test in Chronic Rhinosinusitis Patients After FESS at a Tertiary Care Centre in the Malabar Region.

Dr. Ashwin has also held several leadership roles, including President of the PG Association at Government Medical College, Kannur (2014-15), and has served as Secretary for both AOI (Malabar) and AOI (Calicut). He also received 2nd Prize at the PG Quiz during the AOI Malabar Peripheral Meet in 2015. He has completed a Certificate Programme in Research Methodology from KUHS, Kerala, and the Best Practice Modules on Allergy & Immunology from BMJ (2020).
An active member of multiple medical associations, including the Indian Medical Association, Association of Otolaryngologists (India, Kerala & Calicut) and ISFARO, and participation in various international conferences, Dr. Ashwin continues to impact the medical community positively through his clinical and educational efforts at KMCT Medical College Hospital.
