and went on to earn her Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO) in October 2006 from the same institution. In 2012, she further advanced her qualifications by obtaining a DNB in ENT from MIMS Calicut.

Dr. Ashila began her teaching career as a Tutor at Government Medical College, Calicut, and later served as a Junior Resident. She completed her Senior Residency at KMCT Medical College and then took on the role of Assistant Professor at KMCT Medical College Hospital. Since joining KMCT Medical College Hospital on November 1, 2012, she has made significant contributions to both the educational and clinical environments. Her research efforts have led to publications in reputable journals, including:

1. Spontaneous Cerebrospinal Fluid Rhinorrhea: An Enigma. IOSR Journal of Dental and Medical Sciences (2020).
2. Chemical Cautery with 50% Silver Nitrate Solution and Patching with Gel Foam in Closure of Tympanic Membrane Perforation. MedPluse International Journal of ENT (May 2021).
3. Comparison of Three Concentrations of Bupivacaine as Local Application & Infiltration on Postoperative Pain after Tonsillectomy in Pediatric Patients.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Ashila served as the Secretary for Sinocon2023 and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Indian Medical Association, Indian Society of Otology, IMA Academy of Medical Specialities, Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI) and Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS). Her dedication to enhancing medical education and patient care continues to positively impact the community at KMCT Medical College Hospital.
